SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that ex-Turkey merchant bar offers have showed no material change, moving sideways over the past week. Market sources state that inquiries, especially in the Middle East, have increased but this has not been reflected in sales yet.  Turkey's export sales generally continue at low tonnages, though demand in Europe is reported to be comparatively better.

Export offers from Turkish merchant bar producers are at the following levels:

Price ($/mt)

FOB

Angle

540-550

IPN-UPN

540-550

Flat bar

560-570

IPE
