Increased demand for Turkish rebar in Yemen

SteelOrbis has learned that, after demand for Turkish origin rebar increased in the local Yemeni market, an ex-Turkey deal for about 10,000-15,000 mt of rebar has been concluded in the country at the price level of $575/mt ($555/mt FOB) on theoretical weight basis. Meanwhile, sources state that another deal for 40,000-50,000 mt of Turkish rebar will be concluded in the coming days at this price level.
