SteelOrbis has learned that import wire rod offering prices for the US from Turkish mills have remained stable in the last week, with most offers continuing to range from approximately $1,480 /mt to $1,490 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Offering prices for boron-added rod from Chinese mills for the US continue to range from approximately $1,150 /mt to $1,160 /mt, not including a possible tax increase for these rods, which the buyer would have to share with the mill.
