Turkish merchant bar offering prices have increased by $40 / mt since our last report two weeks ago with offers now ranging from $860 /mt to $880 /mt CFR FO US Gulf ports, based on theoretical weights. The subject product consists of small sections and some structural channels and angles according to ASTM A36/A6.
Merchant bar offerings from Taiwan have increased significantly and there are currently no reasonable offers to the US.
