In the local Italian market, rebar prices are still moving on a soft trend. In the past week, domestic producers' prices have decreased by €20/mt ($22/mt) week on week to €435-445/mt ($487-498/mt) ex-works for medium-sized rebar, while sources have mentioned that some deals have latetly been concluded at €30/mt ($34/mt) below the above levels. In the meantime, demand in the domestic market remains very weak.
