SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that domestic production mesh quality wire rod export offers from the CIS have remained unchanged since last week and are still standing at $575-580/mt FOB Black Sea ports.

Market sources state that there is strong competition among CIS traders as many of them are seeking to sell Chinese origin materials to foreign markets like Israel and so it is unlikely that CIS production wire rod export prices will be increased. Meanwhile, wire rod offers from the CIS to Israel for Chinese origin material are at $595-600/mt CFR.
