Ex-Turkey wire rod deals heard for small tonnages

According to market sources, Turkish wire rod offers to the export markets have remained unchanged over the past week at around $460-470/mt FOB. Although demand for Turkish wire rod is not as lively in the export markets as in the local market, transaction activity is reported to be at decent levels.
 
Market sources have confirmed that a Turkish steelmaker has concluded a wire rod deal for a small tonnages in the US in the range of $495-500/mt CFR this week, while other Turkish producers have concluded deals for small tonnages to the US and to various regions in Africa at $460-470/mt FOB.
