According to market sources, ex-Turkey rebar offers to Yemen have remained at $580-590/mt CFR on theoretical weight basis, for end of June and July shipments. Ex-Turkey rebar transactions have been concluded to Yemen for a total of approximately 70,000 mt over the past two weeks. On the other hand, market sources state that Yemeni buyers expect Turkish producers to lower their prices due to the downtrend in raw material costs and so have started to negotiate on prices for new transactions.
