On January 17, SteelOrbis reported that ex-India induction grade billet offers to Nepal were approximately at $460-465/mt CFR Nepal or approximately $435-440/mt ex-works from mills in eastern India.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that prices have softened $2/mt to $458-463/mt CFR Nepal. Indian billet purchases are reportedly weak as buyers consider attractive offers from Iran and other regions.
