Market sources state that Turkish wire rod export offers have remained unchanged in the past two weeks at $580-590/mt FOB, while Turkish offers for Libya can be found at $635/mt CFR. Meanwhile, ex-China wire rod offers are currently at $510-515/mt FOB, increasing by $15/mt over the same period.

Market sources indicate that the recent upward movement of Chinese wire rod export offers, which had been on a gradual decline for a long time, have given hope to some Turkish exporters, but no revival is expected on the export side until Chinese wire rod prices increase by sufficient margins.
