Ex-Turkey merchant bar prices move sideways

Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official export prices unchanged at $610-630/mt FOB as most international buyers are on hold for the new purchases. Currently, official ex-Turkey equal angle offers are standing at $610-630/mt FOB, for late April shipment.

A few merchant bar re-rollers are even testing $640/mt FOB, depending on the size and the region. However, this level seems a bit high under the current market conditions.

The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $470-495/mt CFR, up by $10/mt on the lower end week on week.

Product Price ($/mt)
Angle 610-630
IPN-UPN 620-640
Flat bar 640-660
IPE 620-640

All prices are on FOB basis for late April shipment.
