Ex-Turkey merchant bar prices fall slightly

Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have cut their official equal angle export prices by $10/mt on the higher end to $590-610/mt FOB, against the backdrop of the sluggish international demand and the relatively negative sentiment in the import scrap segment for October shipment. 

The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $460-485/mt CFR, unchanged over the past week.

All prices are on FOB basis for October shipment.
