Egyptian wire rod offers for export

Egyptian mesh quality wire rods are being offered for export at $480-490/mt FOB for late February/early March shipments. Egyptian mills are offering wire rods at similar prices to those of the Turkish mills. Offers given by Turkish mills are also at $480-490/mt FOB levels. Wire rod prices are lower than rebar prices due to the presence of Chinese wire rods in high amounts in the Mediterranean region.
