Egyptian mills’ January production rebar offers

SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that Egypt's EZZ Steel has kept its January production rebar prices stable as compared to its price levels for December output materials at EGP 4,950/mt ($712/mt) ex-works, while another local mill Beshay Steel has decreased its rebar prices by EGP 30/mt ($4/mt) over the same period to EGP 4,960/mt ($714/mt) ex-works. The offers include eight percent VAT.
