Downward revision in local Turkish rebar spot market

According to market sources, rebar prices in the local Turkish spot market have decreased by around TRY 10-25/mt since July 27, though prices on US dollar basis have declined only by $6-9/mt due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate. Market players have been forced to revise their rebar prices downwards due to slack demand despite the increases seen in import scrap prices.
