During the past week, domestic wire rod quotations in Turkey have been pushed up slightly by the rises seen in import scrap prices in the deals concluded in Turkey last week and the consequent increases seen in billet quotations. On the other hand, buyers in the local Turkish wire rod market have continued their purchases only in line with their needs.
