Domestic wire rod prices from Turkey’s Aegean region decrease slightly

SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $480/mt ex-works in Izmir, with 20MnB4 grade standing at $585/mt, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payment. Moreover, prices in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $490/mt delivered to Istanbul, with 20MnB4 grade wire rod at $595/mt delivered to Istanbul, excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payment. The offers for the two grades in question are $20/mt lower than the producer’s previous list prices announced on December 10.
