SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $480/mt ex-works, while offers from the same producer for 20 MnB4 grade wire rod are at $585/mt ex-works, both delivered to Istanbul, excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments.
On the other hand, the producer’s offers are at $470/mt ex-works for 5.5-16 mm wire rod and at $575/mt ex-works for 20 MnB4 grade wire rod, both delivered to customers in Izmir, excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments.
The offers in question are $10/mt higher than the producer’s previous list prices announced on October 18.
