Domestic and import wire rod prices in India

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Indian domestic market low carbon wire rod prices stand at $760-780/mt, while high carbon (C81 and above) wire rod prices are at $825-835/mt, both on actual weight basis, for deliveries to customer and exclusive of 10 percent excise duty and four percent VAT.
 
Meanwhile, ex-China boron-added wire rod offers to India stand at $755-765/mt CFR, while ex-CIS low carbon wire rod offers to the Indian market are at $795-805/mt CFR, both on actual weight basis and for late July shipments.
