Having been at low levels for a long time now, demand in the local Egyptian rebar market has not revived over the past week. Egyptian buyers are expecting local rebar mills to offer discounts and so are limiting their purchases in line with their needs. Meanwhile, Egyptian rebar producers have kept their domestic offers stable once again in the current week at EGP 11,800-12,200/mt ($658-680/mt) ex-works, including fourteen percent VAT.
