The US import hot dipped galvanized (HDG) and Galvalume coil markets continue to trend unchanged, as traders say they’re still evaluating new offers and will not be making decisions for a few more weeks.  Inventories continue to trend high, and while a number of SteelOrbis sources say they’ll start to look at new offshore sources for first quarter arrivals, no definitive decisions have been made as of yet.

“There are plenty of mills that are interested in developing relationships and we’re currently in the process of exploring that,” according to one trader source.
