While last week demand from European buyers for Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC) was at decent levels  as they had stepped up their purchases since the beginning of the European antidumping duty investigation against HRC imports from China, this week demand for Turkish HRC in the export markets has slackened and is now at weak levels, since European buyers have mostly met their needs for HRC. Accordingly, no Turkish HRC deals have been heard in the export markets this week, while Turkish HRC offers to the export markets have remained stable week on week at $440-445/mt FOB.
