Traders throughout the US say they are still in negotiations with possible new offshore providers of US import hot dipped galvanized (HDG) and Galvalume coil.  Although it seems that nothing has been solidified yet, sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed there are plenty of trial orders that are currently taking place.   New possible players include a myriad of different countries spanning from the UAE to Pakistan; others sources say they’ve been corresponding with possible Japanese sources, as well. Current import activity remains light, although it’s believed that order will start to be placed in the upcoming weeks as traders begin to prepare orders for first-quarter arrival.
