US HDG prices still climbing with no end in sight

US domestic HDG and Galvalume coil prices have maintained their upward momentum, as spot market tons remain limited and buyer demand remains strong. Sources close to SteelOrbis also believe the market “still has some steam to it,” and most believe that prices will continue to firm into the 4th quarter.

Prices continue to be “all over the map,” but the most commonly heard ranges are listed in the chart below.
