Spot market prices for US domestic HDG and Galvalume coil have once again, continued to hold steady, although prices have continued to wobble within the current range. “The state of the market depends on who you’re talking to and what publication you’re reading,” a source said. “One says prices are up while another says prices are down, but for the most part, they’ve been holding in the same range that we’ve been talking about for the past couple of weeks.”
A second source agreed. “There’s been some upward and downward movement, but that seems to depend on the day, who the buyer is, and what the seller had for breakfast,” he added. “The ups and downs have all been, in my opinion, a relative wash.”
