Turkish producers reduce their local CRC prices

Demand for domestic producers’ products in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has remained at low levels during the past week, while domestic CRC prices have moved down by $20/mt week on week to $580-600/mt ex-works due to slack demand and the softening of domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices.
 
Despite the weak CRC demand in the spot market, traders’ prices have remained stable due to low CRC inventories. Turkish traders’ CRC prices in the local Turkish spot market are at the following levels:

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis, for June delivery, and exclude 18 percent VAT.
