Demand in the local Turkish pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) coil market has remained slack during the past week, while buyers are still cautious about making new bookings and continue to postpone their purchases, adopting a wait-and-see stance. Due to the weak demand, Turkish PPGI producers have decreased their domestic prices by $5/mt on average week on week. Accordingly, Turkish mills' local prices for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI are at $790-855/mt, while their offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $660-700/mt and prices for 1 mm RAL 9002 are at $540-605 /mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.

Meanwhile, demand for Turkish PPGI in the export markets is also slack, while ex-Turkey PPGI offers have decreased by $20/mt week on week to $630-680/mt FOB.
