Demand for Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC) in the export markets is still at medium levels. European buyers, who have stepped up their demand for Turkish HRC since the beginning of the antidumping duty investigation against HRC imports from China, have this week continued to make conclude bookings for Turkish HRC. According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer sold 50,000 mt of HRC to Spain at $440/mt FOB early this week. Consequently, Turkish HRC offers to the export markets have increased by $10/mt week on week on the lower end to $440-445/mt FOB.
