Turkish coated coil prices remain stable

Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish coated coil market has remained at low levels as buyers have continued to make bookings only to meet their immediate needs. Meanwhile, prices have remained unchanged week on week. However, it is heard that a Turkish producer has concluded several deals at prices $15-20/mt lower than current market prices for cash payment. Market sources state demand is not expected to recover in the coming period due to the stagnant summer season.
