According to market sources, demand in the Turkish domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) market is still weak. Even though buyers have continued to exert pressure on producers’ prices, they have remained unchanged over the past week at $420-440/mt ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT, for December production.
Meanwhile, spot CRC prices in the local Turkish market have decreased by $10/mt over the past week since low-priced CRC has continued to enter traders’ inventories. Currently, spot CRC prices in the local Turkish are as follows:
