Shagang Group raises local steel plate prices by $7/mt for August

Jiangsu Province-based Shagang Group, China’s largest private steelmaker, has issued its list prices for steel plate for August this year.    

Accordingly, the company has raised its offer prices for 20 mm x 2,000 mm Q235B steel plate by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt) to RMB 3,850/mt ($539/mt) ex-works.

In July, the company had kept its offer prices for 20 mm x 2,000 mm Q235B steel plate stable at RMB 3,800/mt ($532/mt) ex-works.
