Shagang Group raises local steel plate prices by $21/mt for August

Jiangsu Province-based Shagang Group, China’s largest private steelmaker, has issued its list prices for steel plate for August this year.     

Accordingly, the company has raised its offer prices for Q235 14-29.9 mm steel plate by RMB 150/mt ($21/mt) to RMB 4,250/mt ($596/mt) ex-works.    

In July, the producer had kept its offer prices for Q235 14-29.9 mm steel plate stable at RMB 4,100/mt ($575/mt) ex-works.
