According to a medium-sized distributor in Rio de Janeiro, the price of HRC in the Brazilian domestic market remains unchanged at BRL 4,160/mt ($1,321/mt), ex-works, full taxes except IPI.

An 8 percent increase was established by the producers in March, but sales have declined to such an extent that an agreement among producers, distributors and consumers was reached to cancel the price increase.
