Brazilian producers are trading HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $420/mt, FOB conditions, stable during two weeks for the first time since a downtrend from $500/mt in May.

According to a local exporter, the trend has links with declining steel prices in China.

In June, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported HRC at $348/mt, CSN at $449/mt, Usiminas at $568/mt and by Gerdau Acominas at $290/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in April.
