Nucor, US Steel announce flat rolled price increase

Nucor and U.S. Steel have announced they will be raising prices on hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil and hot dipped galvanized coil by a minimum of $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), effective with all new orders. This is the third price increase that flats mills have announced in the past 30 days. The viability of the increases has yet to be determiend.
