Demand has remained weak both on the mills' side and in the spot market in the Turkish domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) market, where prices have remained stable over the past two weeks. Meanwhile, local buyers, who have slowed down their purchasing activity for now in expectation of lower prices, will likely keep a close eye on the market trends as of next week and will make a move according to market developments.

Meanwhile, Turkish producers' offers for November production CRC have moved on a stable trend over the past two weeks and are still standing in the range of $675-685/mt ex-works.

Spot CRC prices are as follows:

 Product

Price ($/mt)

Eregli

Gebze

0.6 mm CRC

720-740

725-735

0.7-2 mm CRC

680-690

690-700

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.
