According to market sources, demand for hot rolled coil (HRC) is still weak in Saudi Arabia. Market sources state that, while domestic demand for HRC had recorded a slight recovery after Ramadan, it has failed to remain at the improved levels. In this context, buyers prefer to postpone their HRC bookings due to the ongoing declines see in prices. Chinese and Japanese HRC offers to Saudi Arabia have decreased by $30/mt as compared to the previous month to $320-345/mt CFR, for October shipment.
