According to market sources, demand for hot rolled coil (HRC) is still sluggish in Saudi Arabia despite the end of Ramadan. However, market sources state that end-user demand for HRC has recorded a slight recovery over the past month and is expected to continue to increase in the coming period. Meanwhile, Chinese and Japanese HRC offers to Saudi Arabia have decreased by $20/mt as compared to the previous month to $350-375/mt CFR, for September shipment.
