Jindal Steel Works (JSW) is offering 0.4 mm common carbon CRC to the export markets at the level of $530/mt FOB Mumbai. The same producer's 1 mm CRC offers were standing at the level of $525/mt FOB Mumbai two weeks ago.
On the other hand, 0.4 mm PPGI offers given by the producer for export are at the level of $725/mt FOB Mumbai, indicating a decrease of $30-40/mt as compared to two weeks ago. However, it is heard that PPGI offers given from South Korea to Europe are at more competitive levels, i.e. $720/mt C&F eastern Europe.
JSW's HDG offers for 0.58 mm 140 gr/m² zinc coated material are currently in the range of $570-580/mt C&F eastern Europe, whereas the producer was offering 0.4 mm 120 gr/m² zinc coated HDG at $600-610/mt C&F eastern Europe two weeks ago.
For the producer in question, there is no activity observed on the HRC export side. The reason for this is the more active demand observed in the local market compared with the export market.
Shree PreCoated Steels' 0.4 mm PPGI offers have shown no change as compared to two weeks ago and are currently standing at the level of $760/mt C&F eastern Europe. On the other hand, the producer's 0.4 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated HDG offers are at $600/mt C&F Middle East, while offers given by the same producer for the same material on FOB basis are at $570/mt.
National Steel Agro Industries is offering 0.4 mm PPGI at €615/mt C&F eastern Europe. It is observed that offers given by this producer have increased by $40/mt over the last two weeks.
Bushan Steel is offering 0.4 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated HDG at $650/mt C&F eastern Europe. The offer in question has indicated a decline of $10/mt as compared to two weeks ago. Also, the same producer is offering 0.4 mm PPGI at €615/mt C&F eastern Europe.
Uttam Galva Steels Limited is offering 0.4 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated HDG to the export markets at the level of $600/mt FOB. However, the same material was offered to Italy and Spain by this producer at the level of $600-610/mt CFR two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the producer's 0.4 mm PPGI offers are at €615/mt C&F eastern Europe, indicating no change over the last two weeks.
Essar Steel's export offers for 0.3 mm 140 gr/m² zinc coated HDG are standing in the range of $590-600/mt FOB, increasing by $10-15/mt as compared to two weeks ago.
Steel Authority of India's HRC export offers have decreased by $10/mt or so, to the range of $430-440/mt FOB. On the other hand, common grade plate is being offered at the level of $440/mt FOB, marking a decrease of $10-20/mt as compared to two weeks ago.
