SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that import offers for hot rolled coil (HRC) of 3 mm and above thickness to Oman from China have been moving sideways at $565/mt CFR so far this week, after decreasing by $10-15/mt in the previous two weeks. Meanwhile, offers to Oman from India and Russia are currently at $575-590/mt CFR. However, Omani buyers consider these offers to be on the high side, compared to the softer Chinese offers.
