Indian offers of 0.019” x 48” G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) HDG coil offers for the US range from $880/mt to $900/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Import HDG offers from Taiwan to the US are comparably priced to the Indian offers, with most 0.012" G30 offers from Taiwan currently ranging from $925/mt to $950/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, and Taiwanese offers of 0.019" G90 ranging from $875/mt to $900/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
On the other hand, Chinese HDG offers for the US have dropped considerably (by $60/mt to $80/mt) in recent weeks and currently represent the most competitive import offerings in the US HDG market. Chinese offers of 0.012" G30 range from $800/mt to $820/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, while Chinese offers of 0.019" G90 range from $820/mt to $840/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
