SteelOrbis has learned that Indian HDG coil offers with the specifications of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) for the US have dropped by about $70 /mt in the last week, with most offers now ranging from $660 /mt to $680 /mt CFR FO US Gulf ports.
For the same size and coating, Chinese material is still offered at around $780 /mt CFR FO US West Coast ports.
Meanwhile, offers from India to the US for 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) have trended sideways since last week, with most offers still ranging from $700 /mt to $750 /mt CFR FO Gulf ports.
For the same size and coating, Taiwanese offers have remained stable since last week at $730 /mt to $750 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports. Most Chinese offerings to the US are still hovering around $780 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports.
