SteelOrbis has learned that import HDG coil offers from India to the US, 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m), have decreased on average by $30 /mt since last week, and most offers now range from about $700 /mt to $750 /mt CFR FO Gulf ports.
For the same size and coating, Taiwanese offers have declined by about $20 /mt from two weeks ago, and are now in the approximate range of $730 /mt to $750 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports. Meanwhile, most Chinese offerings to the US are still hovering around $780 /mt CFR FO West Coast.
Meanwhile, India's offers of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) for the US have trended sideways in the last week and can still be found within the average range of $730 /mt to $780 /mt CFR FO Gulf Coast ports. For the same size and coating, Chinese offers can also be found for around $780 /mt CFR FO West Coast.
