SteelOrbis has learned that import cold rolled coil (CRC) offers for the US have risen by $40 /mt to $60 /mt (on a CFR basis) in the past week.
CRC offers from China currently range from approximately $560 /mt to $580 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf Coast ports (compared to a range of $520 /mt to $540 /mt last week).
CRC offers from Brazil now range from $540 /mt to $560 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports (compared to a range of $480 /mt to $500 /mt last week).
Korea is also now offering CRC to the US, at a range of $700 /mt to $720 /mt CFR FO in US West Coast ports.
