SteelOrbis has learned that import cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to the US from India have softened by about $10 /mt in the last week, with most offers now ranging from about $540 /mt to $580 /mt, CFR FO Gulf Coast ports. CRC offers from Brazil and Turkey are still generally the most competitive, though they have trended sideways over the last week, with most offers from both sources ranging from $540 /mt to $570 /mt, CFR FO Gulf Coast ports. Meanwhile, CRC offerings to the US from Mexico range from approximately $540 /mt to $580 /mt, delivered to the US border. Chinese CRC offers are still the least competitive of the bunch, and are still at around $600 /mt CFR FO US Gulf and West Coast ports.
