Flat steel prices in the Bulgarian domestic market have remained unchanged since last week. Market players state that flat steel import offers to Bulgaria have increased in line with the uptrend seen in global markets. However, these higher import offers have failed to gain acceptance among Bulgarian buyers amid low demand due to unfavorable winter conditions. It is thought that demand may become even lower if domestic flat steel prices follow the uptrend seen in import prices.
Accordingly, current flat steel prices in the Bulgarian domestic market are as follows:

Hot rolled coil (HRC) 08KP | 990 | 673 |
Hot rolled coil (HRC) 235JR 2-8 mm | 1,020-1,050 | 694-714 |
Hot rolled coil (HRC) 235JR >8 mm | 1,050-1,070 | 714-728 |
