Markets sources report that hot rolled coil (
HRC) import offers to Saudi Arabia are at $560-580/mt CFR, while import cold rolled coil (
CRC) offers to the country stand at $670-680/mt CFR. Meanwhile, import offers to the Saudi market for 1 mm hot dip
galvanized (HDG) coil are at $770-780/mt CFR, while offers for HDG smaller than 1 mm can be found at $790-800/mt CFR. In addition, import pre-painted
galvanized iron (PPGI) offers to Saudi Arabia are at $910-920/mt CFR. The offers, which exclude VAT, are for January shipments. Market sources state that demand for import flat steel in the country is poor.
