SteelOrbis has been informed that the volume of inquiries for hot rolled coil (HRC) in the North African market has improved slightly over the past two weeks but has failed to result in bookings due to problems experienced regarding letters of credit. In the same period, ex-CIS HRC offers to North African countries have moved down by $10/mt on the lower end and declined by $15/mt on the upper end to the range of $290-295/mt FOB.
