Ex-China offers on flat steel to Chile trend stable

On January 26, SteelOrbis reported ex-China flat steel offers to Chile at $610-615/mt CFR for HRC, $650-655/mt CFR for CRC, and $715/mt CFR for HDG.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that for the week ended February 2, just like for the week ended January 26, flat steel offers from China to Chile are remaining stable. Expectations remain for limited trades on market uncertainty and offers to remain relatively stable until after the Chinese New Year.

Additionally, a source noted that heavy plate import offer prices are currently at about $600/mt CFR Chile.
