On December 1, SteelOrbis reported ex-China offers to Chile for flat steel at $600/mt CFR for HRC, $640-650/mt CFR for CRC, and HDG at $700-710/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offers to Chile are now at $615/mt CFR for HRC, $650-655/mt for CRC, and HDG at $710-715/mt CFR, although trading activity and buyer interest is limited due to year-end financial considerations by buyers, increasing offer prices, and lower seasonal demand in the domestic market. The updated offer levels represent an increase of $15/mt on HRC. Both CRC and HDG encountered a $10/mt increase from the bottom of the previous range and $5/mt from the top of the previous range.

Additionally, sources note that ex-China flat steel offers to Brazil are trending $10-15/mt higher than those reported in Chile.
